Biography

Latisha Simone Di Venuto (Tisha) is a 23 year old performer from New Jersey. After a life threatening hospitalization in July, 2011 from an unforeseen development of Juvenile (Type I) Diabetes, she decided that life was to short to not live for her true passions: The Arts and humanity. Latisha has been involved in performing since she was 3 years old and has actively participated on and offstage in High School and College productions. For the past three years, Tisha has played Bratella in the Taubenslag Productions musical Beauty and the Beast. In June, 2012 she was a finalist in the North Carolina Black Repertory Company's Marvtastic Talent Extravaganza where she performed an original Hip-Hop song, "Double Consciousness." In January 2013, Tisha attended the bi-annual SHINE event hosted by AMTC where she earned a Spirit Award and was an Overall Finalist for Stand Up Comedy and Songwriting. She is hoping to make her mark in the world of entertainment and with some hard work, persistence and by the grace of God it will happen! Tisha currently works in retail sales, is a non- union background actor is a babysitter and a lawn mower. In her spare time she writes original music, performs at open mics and thinks of weird sketches for comedy shows! She also enjoys eating buffalo wings with ranch!
